All the knowledge from the Foundation Class, combined with in-depth understanding of skeletal structure, forms the core material of the Head Sculpture Class. In this course, students will directly experience working with clay and sculpting tools, progressing step by step in a clear and accessible manner to create a complete human head by hand—from the skull, to muscles, and finally to the skin. The learning pathway of the class does not stop at accurately reconstructing nature, but further encourages students to move into the creative stage by modifying the natural structural systems of the human head in a personally structured way, in order to create a character from imagination.
