PERFORMANCE

The performances are part of the event series “Drawing from Imagination.” The event allows the audience not only to witness the complete process through which an artwork gradually takes shape—from a blank sheet of paper to a finished piece—but also to listen directly to the artist, Nguyễn Ngọc Linh, as he shares his emotions, methods of visual interpretation, modes of thinking, and all essential techniques involved in drawing with a fineliner pen. The completed artwork is the result of spontaneous images that arise in the artist’s mind throughout the drawing process. During this time, the audience also contributes their own stories and personal wishes, which become part of the artist’s process of form creation. Each performance lasts approximately 180 minutes. The resulting artwork measures around 80 × 100 cm and is held at Nhau Studio or at another designated location. Audience members may acquire the artwork immediately after the event concludes, with the price to be determined through negotiation.
